Methodology for Assessing Emissions Reductions via Collection and Destruction of HFCs

This methodology covers the collection and destruction of HFCs which would otherwise be vented to the atmosphere in Montreal Protocol Article 5 countries which have ratified the Kigali Amendment. The countries must not have regulations against refrigerant venting, or such regulations must not be enforced. Aggregation and destruction or reclamation of HFCs may be performed in Article 5 or non-Article 5 countries.
