Methodology for Assessing Methane Recovery from Landfill Gas

This methodology covers the installation or capacity addition of a landfill gas capture and destruction or gainful use system. It aligns with the methane recovery procedures of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and is based on the CDM methane recovery methodology ACM0001 Large-scale Consolidated Methodology: Flaring or use of landfill gas and the Climate Action Reserve’s U.S. Landfill Project Protocol Version 6.0.
